Production has been deliberately limited to just two top-quality wines, launched onto the market with the 2016 vintage: Gargantuà I.G.T. Toscana (100% Syrah) and Pantagruel I.G.T. Toscana (Vermentino, Malvasia and Viognier).

Gargantua and Pantagruel are two giants created by the imagination of the French writer François Rabelais (born towards the end of the 15th century) who, through the extraordinary exploits of these two outsize characters, cocks a snook at human prejudices and impositions and champions the importance of contact with nature – with the sky, the woods, the fields and the animals – from which we often learn more than we do from books and all those “pedantic disputes” about subjects that are distant from concrete reality.
