The park

An experience that allows you to totally immerse yourself in an uncontaminated environment, marked by natural rhythms

Santo Gentilcore, the estate’s owner, has always been a nature lover, and over the years he has created a veritable oasis in which to protect, apart from the indigenous fauna (badgers, porcupines, roe deer, frogs, etc.), some exotic animal species that are in danger of becoming extinct.

An incredible project to protect the wild Nature

A veritable oasis in which to protect, apart from the indigenous fauna (badgers, porcupines, roe deer, frogs, etc.), some exotic animal species that are in danger of becoming extinct.

140 rare bird species from all over the world

In the little lakes of the ten hectares of private parkland live one hundred and forty species of birds, including Chilean, Brazilian and Amazonian teals, rare ducks and geese (those of Hawaii and of the Andes), as well as eight species of Japanese cranes – of which only 1,700 examples still exist in the world – that today build nests and reproduce in this congenial habitat.

A journey through time by centuries-old woods
and ancient castles

Apart from the vineyards, it includes groves of oaks and a wood of hundred-year-old chestnut trees on the hill where the Castle of Giovagallo – the home of Moroello Malaspina and Alagia Fieschi (mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy) – stands nearby.

Relaxing walks in nature able to regenerate mind and body

Some paths have been created for walking, horse riding and quad biking, for a unique experience immersed in nature.

You will walk through lush green woods, accompanied only by the rustling of the leaves as they are caressed by the wind, the sound of water that runs fast along the beds of the streams, and the twittering of the birds.
